You are an experienced Operations Engineer with a strong background in managing cross-functional projects. You thrive in a customer-obsessed environment and are skilled at planning and implementing facility network infrastructure, including new builds and expansions. You have a solid understanding of industry technologies utilized in fulfillment and distribution center designs, and you are adept at managing project lifecycles to ensure timely delivery.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively partner with internal customers and stakeholders. Your ability to engage as a team player ensures that you can navigate complex project requirements and deliver solutions that meet organizational goals. You are also comfortable with travel, as this role may require up to 80% travel to various project sites.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead and manage the lifecycle of challenging projects, focusing on the development and delivery of innovative sortation and distribution solutions. You will work closely with talented engineers to design and implement physical distribution systems that enhance operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include managing technology or integration projects, ensuring that all engineering deliverables are completed on schedule and within scope.

You will proactively mitigate risks and manage overall project schedules to minimize disruptions to support teams. Collaborating with external equipment vendors and partners will be a key part of your role, as you work to deliver solutions that meet project goals. You will also be responsible for engaging with various stakeholders to ensure a smooth handover of completed projects.
