Who you are
You are a motivated and customer-focused individual with experience in managing teams in a fast-paced environment. You understand the importance of safety, quality, and performance in operations and are committed to engaging your team to achieve these goals. You have the ability to lift up to 49 pounds and are comfortable working in variable temperature and noise conditions. You thrive in a role where you can mentor and support your hourly workforce, ensuring they are motivated and productive during their shifts.
You possess strong collaboration skills, working effectively with various support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources. You are adept at developing plans to meet business objectives and are focused on maintaining customer expectations. You understand the operational workflow, from first mile to last mile, and are dedicated to delivering packages to customers on time.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead a team of hourly workforce, supporting and mentoring them to maintain high levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will manage the operational workflow, ensuring that all components from first mile to last mile are executed efficiently. You will collaborate with support teams to develop strategies that meet business objectives and enhance customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include monitoring team performance, addressing any issues that arise during shifts, and ensuring that safety protocols are followed at all times.
You will be expected to stand and walk for up to 12 hours during shifts, actively engaging with your team to foster a positive work environment. You will also be responsible for lifting and moving packages as needed, ensuring that all operational tasks are completed effectively. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the high standards that Amazon is known for, and you will play a key part in ensuring that customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.
What we offer
Amazon offers a competitive salary range of $70,000.00 - $90,900.00 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) matching program.
