You are a motivated and customer-focused individual with experience in managing teams in a fast-paced environment. You understand the importance of safety, quality, and performance in operations and are dedicated to maintaining high standards. You have strong leadership skills and enjoy mentoring and supporting your team to achieve their best.
You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment where you may need to lift up to 49 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods. You thrive in situations that require collaboration with various support teams, including Safety, Engineering, and Human Resources, to meet business objectives. You are adaptable and can handle the challenges of working in environments with varying noise levels and temperatures.
What you'll do
As an Area Manager II at Amazon, you will lead a team of hourly workforce members, engaging and motivating them during their shifts to ensure the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will manage the workflow across the first mile, middle mile, and last mile of operations, ensuring that customer orders are delivered on time and to the right location. You will collaborate with support teams to develop plans that meet business objectives and continuously improve operational efficiency.
You will be responsible for mentoring your team, managing safety protocols, and maintaining productivity levels. Your role will involve lifting and moving packages, as well as standing or walking for long periods during shifts. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that all operational goals are met and that the customer experience remains a top priority.
What we offer
Amazon offers a competitive salary range of $70,000.00 - $90,900.00 USD annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
