Overview

Amazon is hiring an APAC Occupancy Lead to oversee strategic and tactical management of space within the corporate real estate portfolio. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to drive occupancy planning initiatives and align real estate strategy with business needs. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills.

Who you are

You are an experienced professional with a strong background in real estate and facilities management, ideally with 5+ years in a leadership role. You excel in strategic thinking and possess the ability to translate business requirements into effective space solutions. Your collaborative nature allows you to work closely with various stakeholders, ensuring that occupancy planning initiatives are successful and aligned with business needs. You have a customer-centric approach and understand the nuances of managing space allocations effectively. You thrive in an entrepreneurial culture, providing vision and leadership while being approachable and detail-oriented.

Desirable

Experience in corporate real estate or facilities management is a plus, as is familiarity with data-driven decision-making processes. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a proven track record of managing complex projects. Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to inform recommendations will set you apart.

What you'll do

In this role, you will oversee the APAC regional program for occupancy planning, which includes planning, budgeting, and activities that support corporate office locations. You will collaborate with business leaders to understand their space needs and requirements, ensuring that real estate strategies align with business objectives. Your responsibilities will include developing strategic recommendations for space allocations at a city level, leveraging Amazon's scale to inform decisions. You will also be responsible for maintaining effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring that their needs are met while driving successful occupancy planning initiatives.

You will take ownership of the occupancy planning process, diving deep into details to ensure that all aspects of space management are considered. This includes analyzing current space utilization, forecasting future needs, and making data-driven recommendations to optimize the corporate real estate portfolio. You will work closely with the GREF team to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement in occupancy planning processes.
