What you'll do

As the Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for the complete management of warehouse processes, whether inbound or outbound, across specific or multiple shifts. You will lead a team of Area Managers and associates, ensuring that safety, quality, and performance standards are met consistently. Your role will involve setting and surpassing operational goals, developing strategic plans, and mentoring your team to foster their professional growth.

You will report directly to the Senior Manager of the process and will be responsible for managing approximately 300 direct and indirect employees, adjusting for seasonal variations. Your responsibilities will also include interfacing with support areas such as HR, Finance, Facilities, Security, and IT to ensure smooth operations. You will need to be flexible with your schedule, working in a 3x2 shift pattern that includes weekends and holidays, and be prepared for the physical demands of the role, including lifting and walking long distances within the warehouse.
