What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance of buildings and facilities, focusing on reliability, performance, and cost-effectiveness. You will lead a team of maintenance technicians and third-party service providers, defining goals and priorities to ensure high service levels. You will develop and implement preventive maintenance routines and manage vendor contracts to maintain equipment effectively. Your role will involve close collaboration with operations teams to address day-to-day equipment issues and prioritize tasks accordingly.

You will also oversee the purchasing of required materials in coordination with the procurement team, ensuring that stock levels for spare parts are maintained. Safety will be a key focus, as you will work with the safety team to improve site safety and ensure compliance with Amazon's safety policies. Additionally, you will support the engineering team in the installation of new equipment, contributing to the continuous improvement of operational processes.
