Who you are
You are a recent or upcoming graduate eager to step into a leadership role within a fast-paced warehouse environment. You possess a strong customer focus and are ready to engage with and lead a team of hourly employees. Your ability to motivate and mentor others will be key as you help your team meet their goals and maintain high standards of safety and performance. You are adaptable and thrive in environments where standing and walking are part of the daily routine, and you are excited about the opportunity to develop your skills as a people manager.
Desirable
While not required, any previous experience in a leadership role or within a warehouse setting would be advantageous. A passion for logistics and supply chain operations will help you excel in this position.
What you'll do
As an Area Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for leading a team within one of our fulfillment centers, sort centers, or delivery stations. Your primary focus will be on engaging and developing your team, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to succeed. You will oversee daily operations, maintain high levels of safety and quality, and drive performance metrics. Your role will involve hands-on leadership, where you will be actively present on the production floor, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. You will also participate in extensive training and development programs to enhance your leadership skills and operational knowledge.
