Who you are
You have a strong background in operations management, particularly in logistics, with experience collaborating with third-party logistics (3PL) providers. You possess basic data analysis skills and are proficient in Excel, enabling you to understand transportation data and create simple reports. You are proactive in addressing operational challenges and have a problem-solving mindset that drives process improvements. Your communication skills allow you to maintain effective relationships with trucking partners and ensure smooth operations. You are detail-oriented, ensuring data accuracy and compliance in all operational activities. What you'll do
In this role, you will oversee daily operations management, monitoring and managing transportation and line haul activities. You will track, update, and optimize truck schedules and routing plans, responding promptly to carrier inquiries and resolving operational issues. You will collaborate closely with 3PL partners, maintaining regular communication to support load planning and dispatch operations. Additionally, you will identify and report transportation delays or anomalies, conducting root cause analysis to assist in resolving operational challenges. You will monitor delivery performance, analyze metrics, and report findings to improve overall logistics efficiency. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring compliance with operational standards and fostering strong relationships with logistics partners.
