What you'll do
As an Area Manager at Amazon, you will oversee a large team within the Fulfilment Center, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your primary focus will be on maintaining safety standards and monitoring process efficiency. You will work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites, where you will prioritize routine team management and daily operational tasks. Your role will also involve addressing individual escalations and engaging in wide-scale operational contingency planning.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues in other teams and external partners to meet customer demands and targets. This will require you to analyze data and performance metrics, discussing operational pros and cons of technical improvements with engineers. Your leadership will be crucial in driving productivity and ensuring that your area of the business keeps pace with demand.
