What you'll do

As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the Fulfillment Center. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, setting clear expectations and measuring performance to ensure that operational goals are met. You will drive the creation of quality and process change initiatives, collaborating with your team to implement improvements that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. You will work closely with support staff across various departments, including HR, Finance, and IT, to secure resources for projects and initiatives. Your role will involve sharing best practices across departments and shifts, ensuring that all teams are aligned and working towards common objectives. You will also be responsible for building and nurturing a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to contribute ideas and solutions that drive operational success.
