What you'll do
As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly employees within one of Amazon's fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations, or other operations buildings. Your primary focus will be on motivating, mentoring, and managing your team to meet operational goals. You will engage with your team daily, ensuring they are equipped to perform their roles effectively and safely. You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of safety and quality within the warehouse environment.
You will work closely with your team to develop their skills and help them achieve their personal and professional goals. Your leadership will be crucial in creating a supportive and productive work environment. You will also be involved in performance management, ensuring that your team meets attendance and performance metrics.
