What you'll do

As a Transportation Area Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for overseeing yard operations at the Fulfillment center in Cranbourne. You will partner with site leadership and transportation partners to improve on-time arrival and departure performance of trucks, ensuring that customer experience metrics are met or exceeded. Your role will involve communicating with multiple stakeholders to streamline the flow of trucks in the yard, which is critical for maintaining operational efficiency.

You will create and drive a culture of safety and well-being among your team, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. Reporting on yard performance will be a key responsibility, as you will need to analyze data and present findings to stakeholders. You will also be tasked with identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance overall yard operations. Your ability to lead and mentor your team will be essential in fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
