What you'll do

As an Area Manager II at Amazon, you will lead a team of hourly associates, ensuring they are engaged and performing at their best during shifts. Your role will involve collaborating with various support teams, such as Safety, Engineering, and Human Resources, to develop and implement plans that meet business objectives. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring that all team members adhere to safety protocols. Additionally, you will monitor performance metrics and provide feedback to your team to drive continuous improvement.

You will play a crucial role in the operational workflow, overseeing the first mile, middle mile, and last mile processes to ensure that customer orders are delivered accurately and on time. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a culture of accountability and excellence within your team. You will also be involved in training new team members and providing ongoing support to help them succeed in their roles.
