Desirable
Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) systems, packaging automation, and distribution processes is valuable — you know how to leverage these systems to enhance operational efficiency. Your ability to provide technical leadership to facilities maintenance teams sets you apart, as you guide them in making informed decisions regarding maintenance and equipment end-of-life (EOL).
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead and mentor field-based Facilities Managers to expand and improve Amazon's North American Fulfillment Network — your leadership will be crucial in driving maintenance excellence through innovation, documentation, and standardization. You will oversee budget development, execution, and capital planning, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet operational goals.
You will also manage vendor relationships, guiding senior leadership on maintenance decisions using ROI analysis — your insights will help shape the future of maintenance practices within the organization. Your mission is to champion workplace safety, maximize equipment uptime, and optimize operational costs, all while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
