Who you are
You are a motivated and customer-focused individual with experience in managing teams and operations. You understand the importance of safety, quality, and performance in a fast-paced environment. You have a proven track record of engaging and mentoring hourly workforce, ensuring they meet the highest standards during their shifts. You are physically capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and can stand or walk for up to 12 hours during shifts. You thrive in environments that may be noisy and subject to variable temperatures, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
What you'll do
As an Area Manager II at Amazon, you will lead a team of hourly associates, supporting and motivating them to achieve their best performance. You will manage key operational metrics, ensuring that safety, quality, and productivity standards are met consistently. Collaborating with various support teams, including Safety, Engineering, and Human Resources, you will develop and implement plans to meet business objectives. You will play a crucial role in maintaining customer delivery promises, ensuring that orders are delivered accurately and on time. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a positive work environment and driving team engagement.
