What you'll do

As a Senior Transportation Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operations of the TOM teams within your designated node. This includes managing a team of Operations and Area Managers, ensuring that they are equipped to achieve operational excellence. You will own the operational budget for your functional area, focusing on safety, productivity, financial planning, and labor management. Your role will involve strategic level planning, where you will forecast needs and prepare for peak seasons, ensuring that your team is ready to meet demand.

You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with your team to identify challenges and develop solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Your leadership will be critical in building a strong leadership bench within the TOM organization, as you coach and mentor your team members to help them grow in their careers. You will also network with other leaders across the organization to share insights and collaborate on strategic projects that have a building and network-wide impact.
