Your ability to engage and mentor your team is key to your success in this role. You are physically capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and can stand or walk for extended periods during shifts. You thrive in environments that may vary in noise levels and temperatures, adapting quickly to changing conditions.
What you'll do
As an Area Manager II at Amazon, you will lead a team of hourly workforce members, ensuring they are engaged and motivated throughout their shifts. You will manage critical aspects of operations, including safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises. Collaborating with various support teams, you will develop plans to meet business objectives and ensure that customer orders are delivered accurately and on time. Your role will involve continuous monitoring of workflows, addressing any issues that arise, and implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
