You are a motivated and customer-focused individual with experience in operations management. You understand the importance of maintaining high levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance within your team. You have a knack for engaging your team during their shifts and providing them with the necessary tools for success. You are data-driven and skilled in analytical problem-solving, which allows you to drive improvements effectively. You are adaptable and willing to undergo in-role training at an operating site, even if it requires travel.
What you'll do
As an Operations Manager at Amazon, you will play a key role in ensuring that customer orders are delivered on time and to the right location. You will lead and develop a team of both salaried and hourly talent, engaging them to maintain high performance levels. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the workflow of the operation, which consists of the first mile, middle mile, and last mile processes. You will be expected to make data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for fostering a culture of safety and quality within your team, ensuring that all team members are aligned with Amazon's vision and dedication to customer service.
