Who you are
You have a strong background in automation engineering, ensuring that automated systems function optimally to meet customer demands. Your experience includes troubleshooting and repairing key system issues, and you are adept at interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings to develop improvement strategies. You thrive in collaborative environments, working with teams across different locations to install and commission new equipment. Your analytical skills allow you to explore data effectively, optimizing equipment availability and performance.
Desirable
Experience with continuous improvement projects and a solid understanding of control systems will set you apart. Familiarity with data representation for troubleshooting and a proactive approach to problem-solving are highly valued. You are comfortable working with various stakeholders to ensure that all systems are well-documented and that backup libraries are maintained accurately.
What you'll do
In this role, you will control, troubleshoot, and repair issues related to key systems within Amazon's automated warehouses. You will collaborate with the EU control network to monitor equipment indicators and provide internal stakeholders with data representations for troubleshooting. Your participation in continuous improvement projects will be crucial, as you work with different departments to ensure proper documentation and maintenance of backup libraries. You will also support other sites within the EU control network as needed, contributing to the installation and commissioning of new equipment while interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.
