Who you are
You have a strong background in compliance management, particularly in global trade services, and possess the ability to simplify complex regulatory systems. Your strategic thinking skills enable you to develop frameworks that meet diverse regulatory requirements across various countries and product categories. You excel in cross-functional collaboration, acting as a bridge between product, tech, legal, operations, and policy teams. You are data-driven and continuously seek to improve processes, using insights to optimize trade compliance and reduce operational friction. Your experience includes building systems that proactively identify and address regulatory risks through metrics and automation.
What you'll do
In this role, you will partner with policy teams, tech, and legal stakeholders to develop innovative classification strategies that enhance product compliance. You will lead strategy sessions to define the future of product classification for global trade, ensuring that Amazon's products navigate international regulatory environments seamlessly. Your responsibilities will include designing scalable systems to operationalize classification and compliance processes across millions of products. You will also evaluate the regulatory impact of new product launches or country expansions, ensuring that all operations align with compliance standards.
What we offer
