You have a strong background in aerospace production, with a deep understanding of traceability, demand planning, and change management. Your experience includes broad aerospace assembly, testing, and handling requirements, allowing you to navigate complex production environments effectively. You are knowledgeable in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, which you apply to minimize overhead and reduce non-value-add processes. You thrive in cross-functional settings, collaborating with various departments to develop and improve production scheduling tools and work-in-progress tracking systems.
You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can develop strategies to handle work order material discrepancies within production cells. Your ability to coordinate schedules and plan the initial staging of materials ensures that all vital areas of production and testing are well-prepared. You are proactive in monitoring, tracking, and moving parts through the production flow, ensuring timely delivery to downstream customers. Your attention to detail and commitment to efficiency make you a valuable asset in any production environment.
What you'll do
As a Production Coordinator at Amazon Leo, you will be responsible for streamlining the movement of parts between departments and processes. You will create systems that minimize overhead and improve on-time delivery of products. Your role will involve working cross-functionally to develop and enhance production scheduling tools and work-in-progress tracking systems. You will also develop processes to address work order material discrepancies within production cells, ensuring that all materials are accurately accounted for and efficiently utilized.
You will coordinate the schedule and initial staging of materials and kits to all vital areas of production and testing.
