Experience with AWS infrastructure and capacity planning processes is a plus. Familiarity with project management methodologies will help you excel in this role. What you'll do
In this role, you will plan data center capacity for the 0-24 month horizon, ensuring that infrastructure utilization and availability meet organizational goals. You will initiate and manage projects aimed at meeting power usage targets and perform customer impact analyses as needed. Your responsibilities will include planning for rack retirements and migrations based on infrastructure needs, as well as coordinating execution planning across AWS. You will work closely with supply chain teams to resolve order blockers and usability defects, ensuring that the organization meets its objectives. Your role will have a significant impact on the long-term future of AWS, as you drive capacity planning across multiple regions.
