Who you are
You have a strong background in technical program management, with experience in capacity planning and infrastructure management. Your analytical skills allow you to drive insights into business operations, and you excel at aligning demand with data center capacity. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working cross-functionally to implement lasting solutions that impact the long-term future of AWS.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders across the AWS organization. Your ability to manage projects and resolve blockers is key to meeting organizational goals. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for improving processes to enhance infrastructure utilization and availability.
What you'll do
In this role, you will plan data center capacity for the 0-24 month horizon, ensuring that infrastructure needs are met efficiently. You will be responsible for planning rack retirements and migrations, as well as network requirements per site. Your role will involve initiating dedicated spine builds and intercept builds based on customer requirements, while also managing projects to meet power usage targets.
You will perform customer impact analyses as needed and work closely with supply chain and service owners to prioritize rack landings. Your efforts will directly contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of AWS infrastructure planning, making a significant impact on the organization's success.
What we offer
Amazon provides a competitive salary range of $127,100.00 - $171,900.00 USD annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
