Who you are
You have a strong background in quality assurance and control processes, ideally with experience in construction or infrastructure projects. You understand the importance of maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and performance throughout the lifecycle of projects. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical skills, allowing you to review design documents and provide constructive feedback effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with diverse teams, including engineers and operations managers, to achieve project goals. You are committed to continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance quality processes. You have experience leading QAQC initiatives and are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the implementation of quality assurance and control processes throughout data center construction projects, from pre-design to turnover phases. You will review design documents and provide feedback to ensure compliance with AWS's high standards. You will collaborate with various teams across AWS to identify potential quality issues and develop solutions proactively. You will conduct inspections and audits to verify that construction work meets established quality criteria. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting quality control activities and reporting on project quality metrics. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of quality within the team and will be expected to mentor junior team members in QAQC best practices. You will also participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of AWS infrastructure services.
