You have 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing. Your expertise includes designing and executing test strategies that ensure product quality and reliability. You are proficient in programming languages such as Java and Python, which you use to develop automated test scripts and tools. Your experience with testing frameworks like Selenium allows you to efficiently automate repetitive tasks and improve the software testing lifecycle. You are detail-oriented and have a keen eye for identifying bugs and issues in software applications, ensuring that the final product meets high standards of quality.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with software development engineers, product managers, and user experience teams to understand features and customer needs. Your strong communication skills enable you to articulate testing processes and results effectively to stakeholders. You are also familiar with agile methodologies and understand the importance of integrating quality assurance practices into the development process from the outset.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive the creation and execution of comprehensive test strategies and plans that align with product goals. You will perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and ensure that all features function as intended. Collaborating with development teams, you will review business requirements documents (BRDs) to ensure conformity and functionality before product releases. You will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for backend services, optimizing the software testing lifecycle (STLC) through the use of automated tools. Your responsibilities will also include conducting risk assessments and identifying areas for improvement in the testing process.

You will play a key role in enhancing the quality of Audible's products, working side by side with engineers to deliver high-quality experiences to customers. Your contributions will directly impact the overall product quality and customer satisfaction. You will also mentor junior QA engineers, sharing your knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of quality within the team.
