Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on automation testing. Your deep understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and tools allows you to ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You possess strong programming skills in at least one programming language, such as Python, TypeScript, or Java, which you leverage to develop and maintain automation frameworks and scripts.
You are proactive in participating in design and requirements reviews, ensuring that features and products are testable and usable. Your analytical mindset helps you analyze test results to identify areas for improvement and recommend process changes as needed. You enjoy providing technical and process mentorship to less experienced colleagues, fostering a culture of excellence within your team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the quality assurance tasks for multiple projects, ensuring that the software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will lead testing efforts, including planning, implementing, and executing testing tasks across different product areas such as database, integration, functional, and UI/UX testing. Your expertise in automation testing will be crucial as you develop and maintain automation frameworks and scripts to streamline the testing process.
You will work in compact, autonomous teams with short release cycles, relying on agile methodologies to deliver high-quality products efficiently. Your ability to analyze test results will enable you to identify areas for improvement and recommend necessary process changes. You will also provide mentorship to less experienced colleagues, helping them grow in their roles and contribute effectively to the team's success.
