Amazon is hiring a Regional Quality & Benchmarking Specialist to build and implement quality systems for Reliability & Maintenance Engineering. You'll guide field teams and evaluate performance metrics. This role is based in Hamilton, Ontario.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in quality assurance and benchmarking, with experience in building and implementing quality systems. You understand the importance of continuous improvement and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all processes meet high standards of reliability and efficiency. Your ability to guide teams in creating effective decision-making tools is essential, as is your experience in evaluating performance metrics to drive improvements.
You are familiar with the operations of fulfillment centers and the role of reliability and maintenance engineering in ensuring smooth operations. Your analytical skills allow you to assess performance and implement best practices effectively. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to leading teams towards achieving world-class maintenance standards.
What you'll do
In this role, you will establish quality standards for parts management and develop standard work procedures around parts quality management. You will create a risk-based interface to assist site leaders in prioritizing work based on reliability metrics. Your responsibilities will include evaluating Fulfillment Center RME performance and implementing best practices to enhance reliability metrics year over year. You will work closely with field teams to ensure that quality systems are effectively integrated into daily operations, contributing to the overall success of Amazon's reliability and maintenance engineering efforts.
