Who you are
You have extensive experience in real estate management, particularly in overseeing facility and property activities. Your background includes working with local management teams to define requirements and timelines for site selection, ensuring that all transactions are completed efficiently and effectively. You understand the complexities of asset management, including renewals, expansions, and terminations, and you are adept at navigating the intricacies of lease execution.
You possess strong project management skills, allowing you to coordinate multiple stakeholders and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Your ability to communicate effectively with various departments, including finance, IT, legal, and operations, is crucial in maintaining smooth operations across Amazon's facilities. You are proactive in developing investment models to optimize real estate investments and support the overall business strategy.
What you'll do
In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting Amazon's Mexico Network by managing all facility and property activities. You will work closely with the Mexico team to fulfill the overall strategy for maintaining and developing space requirements for Amazon's warehouse and storage strategy. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing investment models, understanding the annual real estate business plan, and ensuring that transactions align with the business objectives.
You will also be responsible for preparing strategic plans and PMO reports, as well as managing special projects that arise within the real estate team. Regular travel within Mexico will be required to oversee various sites and ensure that operations run smoothly. Your role will involve coordinating with local administrative and purchasing personnel to address any facility issues that may arise, ensuring that all operations are efficient and effective.
