As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician, you understand the importance of maintaining a wide range of equipment to ensure operational efficiency. You are capable of carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs in a fast-paced environment. You thrive in a team setting and are eager to support the development of on-site apprentices, sharing your knowledge and expertise to enhance the operational environment. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for diagnosing faults quickly and effectively, ensuring minimal downtime for machinery. You are adaptable and willing to work various shifts to support the operational needs of the site.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for performing proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a variety of site equipment. You will carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse, ensuring that machinery issues are resolved promptly. Your work will involve using the latest tools and techniques to maximize equipment effectiveness and uphold all health and safety policies and practices. You will also support the development and progression of on-site apprentices, helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement. As part of your responsibilities, you will work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites. Your ability to respond quickly to machinery issues will be crucial in maintaining the operational environment and ensuring the safety of your colleagues.
