As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician, you are dedicated to maintaining a wide range of equipment and ensuring a safe working environment. You thrive in a hands-on role, responding quickly to machinery issues and carrying out planned preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and effectively. You are proactive in investigating breakdowns, implementing solutions swiftly, and suggesting long-term improvements to enhance equipment availability and quality. Your ability to work collaboratively with senior colleagues and contractors ensures that you can tackle any challenges that arise in the maintenance of site equipment.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of maintenance tasks, focusing on both proactive and reactive measures to keep machinery running smoothly. You will work on continuous improvement projects, rolling out best practices across multiple EU sites to enhance operational efficiency. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include performing maintenance on a wide range of site equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety policies, and supporting the development of apprentices on-site. You will also be involved in liaising with contractors when external expertise is required, ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted to the highest standards.
You will be part of a dedicated team that values safety and efficiency, working shifts to provide support around the clock. Your contributions will directly impact the operational success of the distribution warehouse, making you an integral part of the Amazon team.
