Who you are

As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician, you are dedicated to maintaining a wide range of equipment and ensuring that operations run smoothly. You understand the importance of health and safety practices and are committed to keeping your colleagues safe while minimizing machine downtime. You are proactive in your approach, performing preventative maintenance tasks and responding quickly to any machinery issues that arise. Your ability to diagnose faults and implement solutions efficiently is key to your success in this role.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, working alongside senior colleagues and supporting the development of on-site apprentices. Your hands-on experience with various types of equipment allows you to contribute to continuous improvement projects and share best practices across multiple sites. You are adaptable and willing to work on a range of shifts to ensure that operational needs are met.

What you'll do

In this role, you will carry out proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment, ensuring that everything operates safely and efficiently. You will also be responsible for reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse, which requires quick thinking and problem-solving skills. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include using the latest tools to maximize equipment effectiveness and upholding all health and safety policies and practices.

You will support the development and progression of on-site apprentices, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. Additionally, you will work on continuous improvement projects, making suggestions for long-term enhancements to operational processes. Your ability to respond promptly to breakdowns and implement solutions will be crucial in maintaining the high standards expected at Amazon.
