Who you are

You are a motivated individual with a strong interest in quantum computing and algorithms. You have experience applying methods of mathematical and numerical analysis to assess the performance of quantum algorithms, establishing their advantages over classical algorithms. Your background may include expertise in quantum chemistry, many-body physics, quantum machine learning, cryptography, optimization theory, quantum complexity theory, quantum error correction, and fault tolerance, or quantum sensing. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to learn from industry experts while contributing to innovative research.

What you'll do

As a Research Scientist Intern, you will work closely with the Quantum Algorithms Team at the Center for Quantum Computing. Your primary responsibilities will include developing novel quantum algorithms and evaluating their prospective applications in fault-tolerant quantum computers. You will engage in research that strengthens the long-term value proposition of quantum computing, collaborating with global experts in the field.
