Who you are
You have over 3 years of experience in safety management, particularly in manufacturing or construction environments. Your background includes operational or maintenance roles, where you have developed a strong understanding of safety protocols and risk assessment methodologies. You possess business-level proficiency in Japanese, enabling you to facilitate meetings and write business documents effectively.
You are skilled in leading safety initiatives and have a proven track record of implementing effective safety measures. Your ability to communicate and build partnerships with various stakeholders, both internal and external, is a key strength. You are committed to fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement within your team and the organization.
What you'll do
As the Senior WHS Manager, you will lead the safety activities at the Fulfillment Center, ensuring compliance with Amazon's global policies and local regulations. You will be responsible for planning and executing the site's WHS goals and activities, including training, audits, and risk assessments. Your role will involve developing and implementing corrective actions in response to safety incidents, ensuring that lessons learned are shared across the network to prevent recurrence.
