Your background includes overseeing physical security operations, ensuring compliance with established security standards, and maintaining a robust security posture across multiple sites. You are adept at conducting risk assessments and security audits, and you understand the importance of protecting customer data through effective security measures.

You have a proven track record of managing vendor contracts and overseeing security guard force operations, ensuring that all security personnel are well-trained and equipped to handle various situations. Your analytical skills allow you to generate and analyze security metrics, providing insights that drive improvements in security processes. You are familiar with implementing and maintaining CCTV monitoring systems and media security protocols, ensuring that all security measures are up to date and effective.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage the day-to-day physical security operations for Amazon's data centers in the Milan area. You will oversee access control systems and guard force operations, ensuring that all security measures are effectively implemented and maintained. You will conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions as necessary. Your responsibilities will also include generating and analyzing security metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and processes.

You will be responsible for implementing new security processes while maintaining compliance with Amazon's policies. This includes developing and executing security plans for special events and creating evacuation procedures and emergency response protocols. You will establish benchmarks for security performance and design customized policies to meet internal and external security requirements. Your leadership will be crucial in shaping the security landscape of one of the world's largest cloud providers, ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and securely.
