You are skilled in managing vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring that security guard forces are effectively deployed and monitored. Your expertise extends to implementing and maintaining access control systems and CCTV monitoring systems, which are critical for safeguarding data center facilities. You have a proactive approach to security, always looking for ways to enhance security measures and processes.

You are a strong communicator, capable of articulating security policies and procedures to various stakeholders, including upper management and operational teams. You understand the importance of collaboration in achieving security objectives and are comfortable working with cross-functional teams to develop and execute security plans for special events and emergencies.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage the day-to-day physical security operations for Amazon's data centers in the Milan area. You will oversee the security guard force vendors, ensuring that they meet the high standards expected by AWS. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions. You will generate and analyze security metrics to assess the effectiveness of security measures and report findings to the Cluster Security Manager.

You will be responsible for developing and executing security plans for special events, ensuring that all necessary protocols are in place to protect personnel and assets. Additionally, you will create evacuation procedures and emergency response protocols, establishing benchmarks for security performance to ensure compliance with Amazon policies. Your role will also involve designing customized security policies tailored to the unique needs of each data center, ensuring that all security measures align with AWS standards.
