Who you are
You have a deep understanding of underwriting and portfolio risk management, with experience in evaluating credit applications for medium-to-large-sized businesses. Your analytical skills allow you to assess customer financials effectively, and you thrive in environments that require high judgment decision-making. You possess strong attention to detail and a desire for innovative processes, enabling you to exceed expectations in a fast-paced and often ambiguous setting. Business-level written and verbal Japanese skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with Japanese clients and stakeholders.
What you'll do
In this role, you will underwrite credit applications, ensuring that you evaluate the risks associated with each application thoroughly. You will monitor and create risk analytics to assess portfolio risks across worldwide portfolios, with a specific focus on Japan. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help scale programs that support small businesses in their growth. Your responsibilities will also include managing service level agreements (SLAs) and ensuring that the credit processes are efficient and effective. You will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and innovation, contributing to the overall success of Amazon's B2B Payments & Lending initiatives.
