Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, particularly in the entertainment or theatrical industry — you've developed financial models that inform strategic investment decisions and optimize marketing campaigns. Your analytical expertise allows you to generate data-driven insights that support business leaders in making informed choices. You are skilled in budget management and reporting, ensuring that financial operations align with overall business strategies.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with marketing and creative teams to establish best-in-class processes — your ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly helps bridge the gap between finance and creative decision-making. You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of financial forecasting and modeling, which enables you to create comprehensive reports that drive business performance.
What you'll do
As a Senior Financial Analyst at Amazon MGM Studios, you will be a key member of the Theatrical Finance team, responsible for developing and implementing scalable financial processes for domestic theatrical operations. You will create financial forecasts and models that guide investment strategies for 14-16 motion pictures annually across the United States and Canada. Your role will involve conducting in-depth analyses of marketing campaigns to optimize investments and support scenario planning and trade-off analysis.
You will build and maintain scalable reports, including forecast models and BI dashboards, to provide insights into budget management and financial performance. Additionally, you will manage global allocation models and review marketing and distribution plans to ensure alignment with the company's global strategy. Supporting the monthly close process will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
What we offer
Amazon offers a competitive salary range of $72,600.00 - $117,100.00 USD annually, along with comprehensive benefits including dental, vision, and mental health support. You will have access to a 401(k) matching program, paid time off, and parental leave. Join a dynamic team where your contributions will directly impact the success of theatrical campaigns and the overall financial strategy of Amazon MGM Studios.
