You have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Business, and possess strong analytical skills that allow you to interpret complex financial data effectively. With experience in financial forecasting and analysis, you understand how to develop and maintain financial models that support strategic decision-making. You excel in collaborating with cross-functional teams, translating financial concepts into actionable insights that drive business success.
Your expertise includes overseeing financial controllership, ensuring accurate cost tracking and reporting for live sports productions. You proactively monitor production spend against budgets, identifying risks and opportunities to optimize costs. As a trusted finance partner, you communicate effectively with production, content strategy, and operations teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
Desirable
Experience in the sports production industry or a related field is a plus, as is familiarity with financial modeling for capital investments. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality financial insights.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead monthly and quarterly financial forecasting for sports production operations, including P&L analysis and variance reporting. You will develop and maintain financial models that support strategic decision-making for production investments and capital allocation. Partnering with production teams, you will build accurate budgets for live sports events, studio operations, and production infrastructure.
You will oversee financial controllership for live sports productions, ensuring accurate cost tracking and reporting. Monitoring production spend against budgets, you will identify risks and opportunities proactively. Additionally, you will support deal structuring and financial analysis for new sports rights acquisitions and production partnerships, leading business case development for major capital investments in production facilities and technology.
Your role will also involve analyzing production efficiency metrics and identifying opportunities for cost optimization. You will drive process improvements to enhance financial visibility and operational efficiency, ensuring that the finance team is aligned with the broader goals of the organization.
What we offer
Amazon provides a competitive salary range of $72,600.00 - $122,900.00 USD annually, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
