You have extensive experience in mechatronics and robotics, with a strong background in maintaining and repairing automated systems. Your expertise in Embedded Linux and Arduino allows you to troubleshoot complex issues effectively, ensuring that all equipment operates smoothly. You are skilled in using AutoCAD for designing solutions and have a solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles. You thrive in a collaborative environment, where you can mentor and train junior technicians, sharing your knowledge and experience to foster their growth.

You are detail-oriented and committed to continuous improvement, always looking for ways to enhance operational efficiency. Your problem-solving skills enable you to tackle challenging situations head-on, and you are comfortable managing projects and leading teams. You understand the importance of safety and compliance in the workplace, ensuring that all procedures are followed meticulously.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a team of service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will oversee the maintenance of material handling equipment (MHE) and facility equipment, including Fire Life Safety (FLS) systems. Your responsibilities will include developing training plans for technicians and managing vendor relationships for planned and emergency repairs. You will also be involved in designing solutions for complex problems, ensuring that all equipment operates at peak performance.

You will collaborate closely with the Operations Maintenance team to drive continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the overall efficiency of Amazon's operations. Your leadership will be crucial in mentoring service technicians and ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively. You will play a key role in maintaining the reliability of Amazon's automated systems, which are essential for delivering exceptional service to customers.
