Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product management, particularly in technology or consumer electronics. You understand the needs of customers and partners, and you keep abreast of the latest trends in the TV industry. Your ability to define product strategies and roadmaps is complemented by your strong communication skills, allowing you to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

You are adept at developing detailed business requirements and user stories that guide product specifications and architecture. Your experience includes collaborating with engineering, program management, and QA teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery. You thrive in environments where you can drive decisions across diverse teams, including UX and commercial stakeholders.

Desirable

Experience with smart TV platforms or similar consumer electronics is a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and product launch processes will help you excel in this role. You are comfortable working with data to inform product decisions and understand the importance of user feedback in shaping product features.

What you'll do

In this role, you will define the product strategy for Fire TV devices, ensuring it aligns with customer and partner needs. You will develop the product roadmap, detailing specifications and software features that enhance user experience. Your responsibilities will include writing business requirement documents (BRDs) and product requirement documents (PRDs) that clearly articulate the vision for each product.

You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to build and launch products, ensuring that they meet the high standards expected by Amazon customers. Your role will involve driving product launches in coordination with various teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure successful go-to-market strategies.

You will also engage with TV partners to gather insights and feedback, which will inform future product iterations. Your ability to analyze market trends and customer feedback will be crucial in refining the product offerings and ensuring they remain competitive in the rapidly evolving landscape of smart TVs.
