Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record as a Senior Product Manager, ideally with experience in AI or technology products. Your entrepreneurial spirit drives you to innovate and solve complex problems, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can influence and lead cross-functional teams. You possess maturity and high judgment, enabling you to navigate challenging negotiations and make informed decisions that balance customer needs with business objectives. You excel at breaking down large, complex projects into manageable tasks, developing functional specifications, and delivering results in a timely manner. Your ability to create buy-in for product visions and strategies is complemented by your strong communication skills, which help you engage with both internal stakeholders and external partners. You are detail-oriented and focused on delivering high-quality products that delight customers, and you understand the importance of user stories and business requirements in the product development process.

Desirable

Experience in AI product management or a related field would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with agile methodologies and product lifecycle management is also beneficial, as is a background in working with engineering and design teams to bring innovative products to market.

What you'll do

As a Senior Product Manager at Amazon, you will lead the definition, design, development, and launch of AI features that enhance customer experiences across Ring's product suite. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and scientists to develop a product strategy and vision that is informed by both internal and external analyses. Your role will involve creating high-quality product roadmaps that align with the overall product strategy, ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged and informed throughout the process.

You will be responsible for developing detailed business requirements and user stories that guide the product development process. This includes working with design and product teams from partner organizations to ensure that the final products meet customer needs and expectations. You will also lead the effort to create buy-in for the product vision, both internally and with key external partners, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and creativity.

Your responsibilities will include anticipating and managing trade-offs between customer needs and technical constraints, as well as providing escalation management when necessary. You will leverage your leadership skills to guide your team through the product development lifecycle, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet the highest standards of quality.
