You have extensive experience in operations management, particularly in logistics or last-mile delivery, with a proven track record of leading teams through complex challenges. Your ability to translate operational data into actionable insights for senior leadership sets you apart, and you thrive in high-pressure situations where quick decision-making is crucial. You are comfortable working across various teams, including Operations, Finance, and Engineering, to ensure business continuity and network resilience.
Your leadership style is inclusive and empowering, fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams. You have a strong understanding of contingency planning and are adept at developing escalation mechanisms and decision frameworks. Your hands-on experience in operations allows you to navigate ambiguity effectively, ensuring that your team is prepared for any disruptions.
Desirable
Experience in a command-center operating model or similar environments is a plus. Familiarity with peak readiness planning and risk management strategies will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
What you'll do
As the Senior Program Manager for the Contingency Response Center, you will own and operate the CRC across all mile operations in Brazil. Your responsibilities will include leading real-time response execution for disruptions, ensuring that contingency plans are in place for various scenarios, including weather events and capacity shortfalls. You will collaborate closely with multiple teams to anticipate risks and build capacity buffers, activating mitigation plans as necessary.
You will define the command-center operating model, including playbooks for peak operations and systemic failures. Your role will involve providing critical inputs into long-term network strategies and ensuring that contingency assumptions are embedded into the planning process. You will also drive mid- and long-term contingency planning, ensuring that the organization is prepared for any operational challenges.
