Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in developing firmware and software for hardware systems. Your expertise in Embedded Linux, C, and C++ allows you to tackle complex technical challenges effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
You possess a strong understanding of Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) and Satellite Management Controller (SMC) software, and you are familiar with the intricacies of Machine Learning technologies. Your experience in hardware/software co-design enables you to contribute meaningfully to product development from concept to manufacturing.
You are detail-oriented and have a passion for continuous improvement, always seeking ways to enhance system performance and reliability. Your ability to engage in new product development and participate in design reviews showcases your proactive approach to engineering challenges.
Desirable
Experience with cloud solutions and familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) would be a plus. You are comfortable navigating complex technical discussions and can articulate your ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will provide software and firmware for Machine Learning Accelerator servers, focusing on BMC and SMC functionalities. You will collaborate with other server and board software teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of accelerator management firmware. Your role will involve supporting the development of mission-mode firmware and automation for qualification and deployment processes.
You will engage in early concept design reviews, contributing your insights to schematic approvals and offsite board discussions. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of cutting-edge Machine Learning products that Amazon customers demand.
You will also participate in continuous collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring that the software you develop meets the evolving needs of the hardware technologies. Your contributions will help shape the future of cloud solutions and drive innovation within the industry.
