You have extensive experience as a Software Solutions Architect, ideally with a focus on Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) — your expertise allows you to serve as a trusted advisor, helping companies scale their business on AWS. You understand best practices around modern technology, AI, and advanced cloud-based solutions, and you are adept at providing advice on strategies for modernizing and optimizing existing workloads. Your ability to dive deep into technical discussions enables you to solve complex challenges and craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures.

You have a proven track record of engaging with customers to accelerate their products and initiatives — you are skilled at scoping and owning customer engagements, ensuring clear objectives and success criteria are defined. Your experience includes working with highly technical teams, including Solutions Architects and AWS professional services consultants, to execute strategies that drive deep adoption of AWS within your customers. You are also recognized as a thought leader in the community, sharing best practices and presenting at events.

Desirable

Experience with B2B software companies is a plus, as is familiarity with the Australian market. You may also have certifications in AWS or related technologies, which would further enhance your credibility as a trusted advisor.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work directly with customers to recommend best-practice cloud architectures that align with their long-term business outcomes. You will drive technical solutions discussions, diving deep into the details to address complex technical challenges. Your responsibilities will include defining and executing strategies by engaging with technical teams and mobilizing resources within AWS. You will also play a key role in educating the wider community about AWS best practices, contributing to the growth and success of your customers.

You will scope and own each customer engagement, ensuring that objectives and success criteria are clearly defined. Your ability to craft scalable and resilient cloud architectures will be crucial in helping customers modernize their existing workloads and deploy innovative solutions. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including technical account managers and consulting partners, to ensure that customer needs are met effectively.
