Onsite Medical Representative

Who you are

You are an experienced Onsite Medical Representative who is dedicated to promoting health and safety in the workplace. You have a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and are passionate about advocating for the wellbeing of associates. Your ability to assess and administer first aid independently is complemented by your excellent communication skills, allowing you to interact effectively with new hires and existing associates alike.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with the WHS Site Manager and other specialists to ensure a safe working environment. Your proactive approach to health and wellness principles enables you to support associates daily, guiding them through both occupational and non-occupational injuries or illnesses. You are committed to continuous learning and improvement in safety practices.

What you'll do

As an Onsite Medical Representative at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe workplace. You will attend weekly safety committee meetings, engaging with associates to foster a culture of safety and health. Your responsibilities will include providing first aid support and making referrals to outside medical providers when necessary. You will also participate in case management review meetings, ensuring that all health and safety concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.

Your role will involve greeting new hires and providing them with essential information about workplace safety protocols. You will be an advocate for health and wellness, consistently supporting associates in understanding their health needs. By collaborating with the WHS team, you will contribute to the strategic direction of safety initiatives, helping Amazon achieve its goal of becoming the benchmark of safety excellence across all industries.
