Who you are
You have extensive experience in workplace health and safety management, ideally with a focus on operations environments. Your background includes developing and implementing safety programs that prioritize employee well-being and compliance with local regulations. You are skilled in conducting risk assessments and analyzing safety data to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams is crucial, as you will need to build trust and influence change across the organization. You have a strong understanding of ergonomic principles and lean methodologies, which you leverage to enhance workplace safety. You are also experienced in training and mentoring safety professionals, ensuring that your team is well-equipped to uphold safety standards.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for executing Amazon's workplace health and safety policies at your designated site. You will collaborate closely with site operations teams to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and to foster a culture of safety. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing ergonomic risks and enhancing overall safety performance. You will conduct comprehensive risk assessments and provide actionable insights based on safety data analysis. Additionally, you will instruct and train operations leadership and site safety professionals on EHS policies, ensuring that safety standards are effectively integrated into daily operations. Your success will depend on your ability to influence change and promote a proactive approach to workplace safety.
