You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively instruct and train operations leadership and safety professionals on EHS policies. Your ability to build trust and influence change through comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis is crucial in this role.

You are familiar with lean principles and Kaizen events, which you leverage to lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing ergonomic and conditional risks in workplace processes. Your experience in safety programs equips you with the knowledge necessary to create a safe and healthful working environment for associates. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive safety initiatives and ensure adherence to safety standards.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for executing company workplace health and safety policies at your designated site. You will partner with the site-level operations team to ensure compliance with all applicable local and regional regulations. Your leadership will guide the development of a team of safety managers and professionals, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. You will conduct risk assessments and analyze safety data to identify areas for enhancement and implement effective solutions.

You will instruct and train operations leadership and site WHS professionals in company EHS policies, ensuring that safety standards are incorporated into daily operations. Your role will involve leading initiatives that promote a safe working environment, utilizing your expertise to influence change and drive compliance. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with regional teams to support the implementation of safety standards across various sites.
