Who you are
You have a strong background in safety management, with experience in executing safety policies and ensuring compliance with local and regional regulations. Your ability to build trust and confidence with the operations team is essential, as you will influence change through comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis. You are an effective communicator, capable of delivering clear, concise, and consistent messages both verbally and in writing. Your expertise in safety programs, environmental standards, and ergonomic practices will be crucial in creating a safe working environment for associates.
You possess a keen understanding of lean principles and kaizen methodologies, which you leverage to lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing conditional and ergonomic risks in processes. Your proactive approach to identifying best practices and incorporating them into safety standards demonstrates your commitment to enhancing workplace safety. You are dedicated to instructing and training operations leaders in company safety policies, ensuring that safety standards are effectively integrated into daily operations.
What you'll do
As the Site Safety Officer, you will partner with the site operations team at the INUFF Fulfillment Center to execute company safety policies and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. You will lead initiatives focused on continuous improvement, utilizing lean principles to enhance safety protocols and reduce risks. Your role will involve conducting comprehensive risk assessments and analyzing safety data to identify areas for improvement. You will communicate safety expectations to the operations team and provide frequent feedback to ensure adherence to safety standards.
You will be responsible for training operations leaders on safety policies and best practices, fostering a culture of safety within the organization. Your ability to influence change and build relationships with the operations team will be key to your success in this role. You will also be tasked with identifying and implementing best practices to continuously improve safety policies, ensuring a healthful working environment for all associates.
