Desirable

Experience with GenAI technologies is a plus, as is familiarity with custom machine learning accelerators. A background in compiler design or runtime systems would also be beneficial, as it aligns with the responsibilities of this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be part of the Annapurna Labs team at AWS, focusing on the development of the AWS Neuron SDK. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance the performance of deep learning and GenAI workloads on Amazon's custom ML accelerators, Inferentia and Trainium. You will work across the stack, from the ML compiler to the hardware-software boundary, ensuring that every compute unit is optimized for performance. You will collaborate with other engineers to innovate new methods and create high-performance kernels for ML functions. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of machine learning applications running on AWS. You will also engage with customers to understand their needs and help enable their models on AWS infrastructure.
