What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the Payments team at Twitch, overseeing the development of the financial systems that power every transaction on the platform. You will be responsible for creating user-friendly purchase experiences that enhance the monetization capabilities of over 7 million creators. Your role will involve architecting the next generation of payment systems, ensuring they are resilient, efficient, and capable of handling millions of transactions globally. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define the product roadmap and prioritize features that deliver value to users.
You will tackle complex technical challenges, such as orchestrating payments for a diverse user base and integrating with multiple third-party payment vendors. Your decisions will directly impact the user experience, and you will be expected to maintain sub-second response times while ensuring system reliability. You will also mentor and guide your team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
